About Byron Center, MI
Started as a single farm in Byron Township in 1835, Byron Center is situated in the southwestern part of Kent County, with Wyoming on the north, Gaines on the east, Dorr, Allegan county on the south, and Jamestown, Ottawa county on the west. The land is covered with gently rolling swells and small knolls.
Locals love the smaller town feel, proximity to Downtown and rural areas, as well as friendly neighbors. Residents are active in their community, with school and local events well attended. Byron Center is a fast growing suburb of Grand Rapids, with homes and schools in high demand.
Why Choose Tuff Turf?

Tuff Turf has decades of experience helping Byron Center home owners take back control of their yards, whether it’s our comprehensive pest control, mosquito control, bug barriers, lawn care and diagnostics, or one of our many other services.
Whether making a good impression with a healthy, green front lawn or maintaining your own backyard paradise, Tuff Turf can help.

Correction: That “beaver” I thought I saw was 98.72% a muskrat. I looked it up, they’re much smaller and have a similarly goofy tail to a beaver at least from a side profile which I saw it at. Funny animal either way.
79.24% sure I saw a beaver back there by a stream. Could’ve been a muskrat but it had a goofy tail. Ran into the water before I could get a very good look.
