Crabgrass is a particularly challenging “grass” to manage in the yard. It is often considered the most troublesome due to its prevalence in many lawns. Effective control of crabgrass requires the application of a pre-emergent herbicide throughout the season. Fortunately, for our lawn care customers enrolled in a full program, we offer complimentary spot treatments and service calls for crabgrass control as needed throughout the season. Please note that to benefit from these crabgrass control services, the initial application must be applied, making it an important consideration for your lawn care plans for the next season.

Similarly, Yellow Nutsedge is another persistent “grass” that can appear in your yard. Like crabgrass, Yellow Nutsedge is highly noticeable. It stands out for two main reasons: first, its vibrant neon green color contrasts sharply with the rest of the lawn. Second, it grows rapidly, resulting in tall, obvious blades that protrude above the rest of your lush, green grass. As with our crabgrass guarantee, we provide spot treatments for Yellow Nutsedge for all our lawn care customers on a full program. It is most effective to spray Yellow Nutsedge once it has grown tall enough to be easily identified. This ensures accurate application and allows the herbicide to reach the base of the plant for more effective control.
