Lilacs are beloved for their sweet fragrance, beautiful clusters of flowers, and easy maintenance. They come in various colors and bloom in spring, adding color and charm to gardens which we are seeing right now! Lilac bushes attract pollinators and hold cultural significance, often associated with love and nostalgia. They’re a delightful addition to any garden, bringing beauty and fragrance to outdoor spaces. They should however be avoided of all insecticides as to not wilt the blossoming flowers.

A couple of little baby rabbits watched us while we worked at a property in Wyoming Michigan this week. Some like their company and others are bothered by how much they can destroy a garden. Rabbits are attracted to yards with a variety of vegetation, including grass, clover, and garden plants like lettuce, carrots, and other leafy greens. They are also drawn to areas with low-lying shrubs and bushes, as these provide cover and protection from predators. Also, rabbits may be attracted to yards with easily accessible water sources, such as birdbaths or ponds. A natural repellent around their attracted food sources will help them understand they need to go elsewhere for their meals.
