Tuff Turf uses a 2700 pound asphalt roller to roll lawns. It does an excellent job on mole piles, lawn mower ruts, earth worm and ant piles, and the ground heaving during the winter. This roller will compact the soil to a depth of 10 inches. It is highly recommended to core aerate the soil after rolling to relieve the compaction. 

Lawn rolling will not repair large ruts, valleys, or level hills. Invisible fences, underground sprinklers, and septic tanks will need to be marked.
